He started out as a solo piano player/singer, influenced by artists such as
Billy Joel, Elton John, Harry Chapin, the Eagles and the Beatles.
He teamed up with Steve Nesrallah in 1978 and "Kalil & Nesrallah"
played for 7 years in Ottawa and across Canada.

Dave went back to the solo act, singing at various establishments in Ottawa.
The Saucy Noodle, Whispers and The New Edinburgh Pub, to name a few.

His debut CD, "Hole in the Universe", was produced in New York
with musicians such as Gary Burke (drummer with Joe Jackson, Bob Dylan),
Hugh MacDonald (bass player for Bon Jovi) and John Platania (guitarist with Van Morrison).

Dave's infectious enthusiasm for entertaining rubs off on audiences wherever he plays !

Teaming up with Todd Huckabone on guitar and Tyler Kealey on piano, Dave has been enjoying himself more than ever, now at Senshouse every Saturday night and at the Marshes Golf Club every Thursday.
